Laser Sun and Age Spots Treatments

Pigmented lesions like solar lentigines (age spots), café-au-lait spots, and others can all be treated effectively using the GentleMax Pro laser system. Laser treatment targets the melanin of the lesion by raising the temperature to cause shattering of the pigment. In the weeks following treatment, the shattered melanin particles are eliminated by the body’s own “clean up” system. Frequently, single treatment can completely remove the pigmented lesion, but patients with darker pigmentation will need additional treatments.

Sublime® treatment combines infrared light and bipolar radio frequency to heat deeper layers of the skin while protecting the surface of the skin simultaneously. Medium to deep heating of the skin activates fibroblasts (deep skin cells) signaling new collagen to form and existing collagen to tighten. Results – immediate collagen contraction as well as new collagen production occurring over the following 4-6 months’ period. Sublime® treatment requires no downtime and results in decreased sagging of the jawline, more toned central cheek area, firmer neck and a smoother, more uniform complexion. A series of 3-5 treatments is advised for optimal results.

Sublative® skin resurfacing uses radio frequency to deliver controlled and non-ablative fractional treatment to an area of interest. The procedure is minimally invasive yet has been very effective for treating wrinkles, scars, large pores and skin texture irregularities. Each pulse delivered by a trained Lumiere specialist delivers energy on the surface as well as just under the surface via a grid of matrix spots, inducing a micro-injury to the area. The Fibroblasts cells, the cells responsible for collagen production, are activated within the treated zones and signal collagen to regenerate and remodel, improving your skin tone and skin texture.

Stimulation

Laser collagen stimulation is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes laser technologies to gently heat the collagen under the skin surface and promote skin tightening. The comfortable procedure requires no down time and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and smoothes skin surface. Results – immediately noticeable skin tightening with additional tightening occurring over the next few months as collagen continues to build up. A series of 3-5 treatments is suggested with yearly maintenance treatments.
